How Droneacres handles your information

What we collect
When you use the enquiry form, call or email, we receive the details you provide. That may include your name, company, telephone number, email address, the site or project you are enquiring about, and anything else you choose to put in your message.
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage, including pages visited and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics may set cookies and process technical information such as device details and an approximate location. If you also allow advert measurement, Google Ads can use this information to count enquiries that came from our adverts. We do not use it for personalised advertising or remarketing.
Google Analytics and advert measurement are not loaded unless you agree. You can accept all, reject optional cookies or choose each option, and change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings button on any page. Consent is our basis for these optional cookies; see Google’s privacy information for details on its processing.
If you reach the website through one of our adverts or a campaign link, the campaign details in that web address (such as the source, campaign name and Google click identifier) are sent with any enquiry you make, so we can see which adverts lead to enquiries. They are kept in your browser for the rest of your visit only if you have allowed analytics or advert measurement.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, discuss the project, prepare a quotation and, if work goes ahead, to plan and deliver it and keep normal business records. We rely on our legitimate interest in running the business and responding to people who contact us; where a contract follows, on the need to perform that contract.
We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who else handles it
The enquiry form is processed by Formspree, which passes your submission to our email. Our email and website hosting providers also process information as part of delivering those services. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your details for their own purposes. If you consent to analytics or advert measurement, Google processes that data as described in Google’s privacy information.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up. Where work is carried out, project records, quotations and invoices are retained for the period required for accounting and legal purposes, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we have handled it.
